will be auctioned for charity at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona on January 18, 2014. All the proceeds will go to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) — the country’s leading global organization funding type-one diabetes research.

The Mustang crossing the block will be a GT model, and it will feature a V-8 engine with an output of "at least" 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. The car features all-new front and rear suspension systems, more precise steering control and enhanced ride comfort.

During the auction, Ford will also offer its fans the chance to ride in and drive its best models in the 2014 lineup and its resident performance models, like the Shelby GT500 ,Focus ST and Fiesta ST .
