Ford India has launched the face-lifted Figo, an enriched version of India’s “Most Awarded Car” with an enhanced Kinetic design, trendy new colours and a host of enhanced smart features. Prices start from Rs 3.85 lakh for the petrol trim and Rs 4.81 lakh for the diesel (both ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Figo will not only add many numbers to the sales chart but it will also be adding fear among its rivals including the Chevrolet Beat, Maruti Ritz and others.

Ford Fiesta sedan 2013

Ford Brazil has unveiled the facelifted 2013 version of the Fiesta sedan at the ongoing 2012 Sau Paulo Motor Show. The Fiesta sedan’s facelift comes a couple of years after this model’s global unveil and is a mid career facelift for this sedan which is quite popular in the Brazilian car market. The facelifted Fiesta sedan’s front end is very similar to that of the hatchback version, which also saw a facelift a few weeks ago, at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The Aston Martin-esque front end of the car, that is soon becoming Ford’s family face, is the biggest change up front.

2012 Ford Classic Titanium Sedan

India has dumped the Fiesta moniker from the previous generation Fiesta, also known as the Fiesta Classic. The change in name could be due to the fact that Ford already has the replacement of the Fiesta sedan selling in India as the all new Fiesta. In a bid for brand differentiation, the Ford Fiesta Classic will now be known as the Ford Classic.

Ford Figo hatchback’s next generation model

Here are a rash of new details about the Ford Figo hatchback’s next generation model that will debut in India during 2014. The car will replace the current Figo, which has been a best seller for Ford India. Codenamed the B562, the next generation 2014 Ford Figo will be built at the spanking new Sanand manufacturing facility of Ford India. The car is currently being developed by Ford Brazil and will be launched in the Brazilian market by the end of 2013. Like the current Figo, the next generation model is expected to be available with both petrol and diesel engine options.

While we do know how the Ford EcoSport crossover’s production version could look like, courtesy the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, in which the production variants of this hot new product from Ford was showcased, Ford India it seems is doing away with the usual norm of heavily camouflaging test mules. One such uncamouflaged test mule of the 2013 Ford EcoSport was spotted at a toll plaza somewhere in and around Chennai, India. The uncamouflaged version appears to be the top end petrol variant given the Titanium badging and the reverse parking sensors on the bumper.

Diesel version of 2013 Ford EcoSport compact crossover may exist

All along, Ford has remained very tightlipped about a diesel version of the EcoSport, repeatedly dodging questions about the diesel version, while not ruling it out. Now though, we have visual proof of Ford indeed having a diesel version of the EcoSport lined up for the Indian market, courtesy at IndianAutosBlog, who are carrying images of an EcoSport test mule with TDCI badging on the tail gate. The badging is a dead giveaway that the 2013 EcoSport will have a diesel variant in the model line up. The other engine option is expected to be the 1 Liter, 3 cylinder, award winning EcoBoost turbopetrol engine.

New upcoming facelift for the Ford Fiesta online

The spy pictures of the upcoming facelift for the Ford Fiesta sedan which has been emerged on the web countless times doing the trail-runs. Now theophiluschin.com, a leading website came up with a rendering of what the new face might will look like.

From the images, the front of this Ford Fiesta facelift features some major changes including hood, front bumper, headlamps and fog lamps incorporating a new design. However, the biggest change is on the grille design, the new 2013 Ford Fiesta features a trapezoidal front grille which looks Aston Martin-ish.
