The spy pictures of the upcoming facelift for the Ford Fiesta sedan
which has been emerged on the web countless times doing the trail-runs.
Now theophiluschin.com, a leading website came up with a rendering of what the new face might will look like.
From the images, the front of this Ford Fiesta facelift features some
major changes including hood, front bumper, headlamps and fog lamps
incorporating a new design. However, the biggest change is on the grille
design, the new 2013 Ford Fiesta features a trapezoidal front grille
which looks Aston Martin-ish.
The side view of the Fiesta has a little or no change, but the rear
has been slightly modified from the existing version. It features a
small amount of tweaking in the design of the tail lamps. Even the trunk
lid appeared to be a bit refreshed as compared to the old model. Some
sophisticated changes have also been given to the interiors
Under the freshly shaped hood, the face-lifted Ford Fiesta will come
with 1.0 litre of EcoBoost three cylinder engines that would churn out
85 PS of peak power. This is the same engine, which was first displayed
in small Ford B-Max MPV.
Rumors on the web suggest 2013 Ford Fiesta is expected to be
displayed at the Paris Motor Show in 2012 and is likely to be launched
by the end of this year in European market. Hopefully, the face-lifted
Fiesta will make it to the Indian car market by 2013.
